At INNER WORKINGS, practitioner Devin Wallace offers private sessions in hypnotherapy & applied meditation, and group workshops & classes on a variety of mind-body practices. Based in Cayucos, CA with an additional office space in San Luis Obispo, Devin provides services primarily to clients on the central coast, although Skype and telephone sessions are available to those living outside the area.
Devin is a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHT), Medical Hypnotherapist, and Qi Gong instructor.* He has designed and directed innovative therapeutic programs for special populations for over 20 years. He created the nationally recognized Stroke Recovery Program for the Stroke Association of Southern California (where he served sequentially as Director of Education, Director of Programs, and Executive Director), and was the founding Director of the Edward R. Gordon Stroke & Neurological Wellness Center at Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Inglewood, Ca until the hospital’s sale in 2008.
Devin, a nationally awarded playwright and songwriter/musician, was an expressive arts specialist and meditation instructor at the ARISE Stroke Recovery Center in Seattle, Wa, and taught therapeutic theatre, music & writing courses at the Pioneer North Drug & Alcohol Recovery Center in Sedro Wooley, Wa. He designed the “AIR – Arts in Recovery Program” for Tarzana Drug & Alcohol Treatment Center (CA), which received federal funding from the National Education Association. From 2008-2014 , Devin was Regional Programs Manager for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for SLO and N. Santa Barbara Counties. He lead workshops and retreats in mindfulness meditation and seminars on stress reduction, self hypnosis for symptom management, writing and music-as-medicine, and qi gong. He teaches qi gong at hospitals, yoga studios and physical therapy & fitness centers.
